The brief for this project was Penguin Books wanted to create a themed book series from existing films of our choice. I chose Solaris, Spirited Away and Pride which all had a reoccurring theme of self-sacrifice. The designs are handmade paper cutouts inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's exquisite paper cut designs. The final deliverables were 3 front covers, 1 spine and back cover and a company name and logo.
